（By Science Education Division）On December 24, the 2018-2022 Joint Meeting of Higher Educational Institution Medical Specialty Steering Committee , also the first Workshop of the Clinical Medical Specialty Education Committee of Ministry of Education was held in Beijing. Huiqing Lin, Vice Minister of Education, Yan Wu, Director of the Department of Higher Education, Qiming Wang, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education, and Xinyu Chen, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Education of the National Health Commission, attended the meeting. The directors and secretaries of all 17 medical specialty education committees, all members of the clinical medical specialty education committee and clinical practice education committee, representatives of Clinical Practice Education Alliances of National University-affiliated Hospitals, and representatives of the National Demonstration Centers of Clinical Education and Training also attended the meeting.

　　The meeting announced the first batch of National Demonstration Centers of Clinical Teaching and Training, and presented the qualifications to the representatives of the centers. Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital became one of the first 74 national demonstration centers of clinical teaching and training.

　　The qualification of "National Demonstration Center of Clinical Teaching and Training" is the recognition and encouragement to the hospital's continuous improvement of education and teaching since its establishment. The hospital will take this opportunity to accelerate the construction of clinical teaching hardware and software under the guidance of Tsinghua University, and adhere to the educational vision of "Trinity" of Shaping values, Cultivating ability and Instructing knowledge. And the hospital will definitely contribute to the overall quality improvement of medical talent training program.(Reviewer Jiang Liu)
